They seem to last about 18~20 weeks. Replace that periodically, too. Works great and will continue for as long as they make them!

Be careful with this filter. Gpm is very low as filter is too restrictive.

Amazons price was so much less than what i could find locally

Ive compared the price of this replacement filter with other online sellers and amazons price is the lowest

Packaging/appearance

It does a great job at filtering solids and we havent tasted any minerals in the water since we switched to this one from the ap810

It works great on the water provided by the town which has many impurities

Ill never go back to the pentek filters id rather pay more

I presume it is filled with activated charcoal to absorb impurities

Competitiveness

In my opinion it’s better than the cheaper versions
