But for under 20 to come with a ballhead attachments for a smart phone or gopro is a major plus and i highly recommend this flexible tripod
I also like it comes with a ballhead with 360 degree rotation and a quick release plate and a bag

The head of this tripod is all plastic there are no metal pieces except for some screws

If youre using a gopro then obviously theres a lot less weight on the tripod and you can do more active things with it but i really wouldnt use this with a dslr for any situation except on a desk or on the ground basically any situation where the camera isnt at risk if something does happen

One great feature of this tripod vs the gorillapod is the detachable plate so you can easily detach it from the camera without having to unscrew the whole thing

Make sure the legs are evenly distributed so the weight doesn’t make the camera fall forward
