There are three different lighting settings from warm through cool but i have to confess that with the exception of eye makeup which might benefit from such strong magnification i cant see this functioning well as a makeup mirror

The mirror itself is heavy with pads on the base so it wont slide around even on slick surfaces and the mirror itself swivels freely from a magnetized head

The magnification is amazing the mirror is well design the mirror itself is magnetic and it attached with the magnet to the base

Even when the mirror is vertically completely like shown in the picture it will not fall off
