For my install i had to first remove a factory installed threaded insert that was placed approximately 34 inside the ends of the handlebar nothing to do with the pros or cons of the mirror itself

Ive read reviews from other mirrors where they were so cheap that they ended up falling off within the first or second rides but i honestly dont think thatll be an issue here
