Called manufacture about the problem and they couldnt care less

However my led strip cutoff point brings the led right into the clamp portion so i had to cut that plastic clamp off

I little difficult to open the covers small size but once opened slide the cut end of your strip into the sleeve and make sure the copper nodes touch the strip contacts test the lights before snapping closed

I only gave the adhesion rating 1 star as they do not come with an adhesive
