I love the size because i'm only 4’11” and it's easy for me to tug along. I recommend the longer bar because it is heavier and creates more force. A little heavy but seem sturdy should last.

Cons

The handle is tough but the blade bent and the shovel is now worthless. Not very sturdy at all.

The shovel bent digging the first hole. Unexpectedly, it’s bent as rooting out the small dead root.

Sturdy sharp … gives me a chance in the toughest of root conditions

Ive had it for 3 years no rust still sharp sturdy even though i use it to pry up large rocks roots

They all had fiberglass handles and they were the most heavy duty shovels that could be bought… not very strong

Took fifteen minutes to dig a hole and plant our tree versus and hour with our last shovel which in the end broke

Price

More than covered the cost in the first hour yesterday vs hiring it done for me

Shovels like this usually cost so much more
