This antenna radiates the strongest radio signal possible at the horizon. The stealth antenna is a great little antenna, but you can't fight physics. Thats where this 5/8 wave antenna shines. Antenna can be trimmed to achieve desired swr.

The description says it's for a specific midland radio series, but this should work for any gmrs radio. Installed this with a kenwood radio programmed with gmrs frequencies in my jeep.

59 amazon price at time of both purchase and review this item is just over 11 cheaper than the midland mxta26
For the price difference if i was paying attention i would have gone midland
I think if it costs considerably less than the midland just get it

This antenna whip measures 3234 like the midland one and if its anything like it it should achieve quadruple outputs and long range
