Considering 3 people seemed to suggest that it was via 2 questions i am not sure if the manufacturer recently changed the design or not

But the unit i received had the input and output grounds tied together

This is common for isolation transformers and a very easy fix but no good for electronic test benches

Opened it up and noticed the wire from transformer to output plug inside was broken at the plug
