Pros

The spring-loaded design is comfortable and secure, and the pick shape makes it easy to pinch. The pick holds steady and grips snug. Like the softer sound of a medium pick. Not sure exactly on the thickness of the pick component, seems reasonably heav...  Read More

If you are a thumb-picker this is a no brainer! This pick solves my issue while also providing other options for soloing. Works for both travis picking and flat picking.

The design makes it simple and easy to switch between fingerstlye and pick strumming. No palming pick when tapping strums great you can pop strings for a funk soun without dropping the pick. Takes a few hours but an experienced player will be able to ...  Read More

It is the most comfortable pic of this type that i've ever had on my thumb. The material seems quite sturdy. Easy to wear and use.

Cons

Very thick and bulky. Relatively expensive. Good concept, but float around while finger picking. Useless piece of junk.

Ive had a hard time with thumbpicks

I found these picks awkward at first then realized that in addition to using them as a flatpick and a thumb pick you can slide them down to around your first thumb joint and fingerpick with your thumb and fingers and flatpick with the middle of your thumb without gripping the pick

When i want to do serious flat picking though i switch to an actual flat pick so i can vary the tension on it which you really cant do with a thumb pick that wants to stay in the same plane all the time

So as a thumb pick its superior as a flat pick not so much

Good for downstroke strumming but really awkward for upstrokes

I was having so much trouble with thumb picks fitting right and being comfortable to wear for any length of time

As a finger picker when i use a pick i have difficulty holding on to it

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I am learning to fingerpick and i have had trouble getting comfortable with slick picks or the jim dunlops because i lose circulation in my thumb after a bit even after heating up and molding them to my thumb
