Next test turned the bluray player on and the device immediately detected this and switched the feed to input 2

Update purchased an amazon fire stick for use with the same tv

Now have an item plugged in to every port and performance is still indistinguishable from plugging directly into the tv

The only thing ive noticed is that since both the cable box and the fire stick are essentially always on you need to manually switch from one to the other which makes sense as the device cant yet read minds and has no other way to detect that you intend to switch from one to the other

Cable box plugged into port 1 xbox 360 plugged into port 2 currently nothing in port 3

Automatically switches from port 1 to port 2 when i turn on the xbox ignores the empty 3rd port when manually cycling through the options
