Pros & Cons
Pros
Oval 8 is durable and easy to keep clean. That’s the only downside i’ve encountered.
I have a double jointed trigger thumb. I also have a ponpon2 which is neoprene and adjustable. My dad's thumb knuckle is 3 and arthritic, so it's much larger than his thumb.
When it feels too loose, i twist it sideways a little and it is tighter. Comfortable to wear keeps me from bending my thumb. I have a bigger hand brace, which i wear at night while healing.
Cons
The splint fits "wonky" on my thumb, and it cuts into my thumb. The measuring instructions are hard to understand and apparently incorrect in sizing. It's extremely disappointing to find the one product that helped me has inconsistent sizing.
