I am a professional guitarist and this device works pretty well. Would gladly buy again. Highly recommended as a temporary solution.
They're lightweight; comfortable; and supportive. They're a bit expensive for plastic (sterling costs about $22 versus the $7 for plastic), but they do a very specific job very well. My only 'complaint' is they are a bit sharp-edged.

These arent as advertised. They are flimsy and dont help with the curvature of the arthritis. Very disappointed & now returning them.

My son has hyper mobile joints especially his thumbs and it really causes issues when it comes to doing day to day tasks like buttoning zipping or writing

While not permanent if a good clear sealer coat is applied after spray painting i have gotten the color to last 13 months depending on use and abuse before having to repaint
