However they are advertised as durable and on all three of my chargers the outer layer has split to reveal inner layer of wire

Having the rightangle at the phone end definitely seems to help avoid stressing the connectors on the cable and in the phone

So far so good work with my iphone xr fine like the way it is set and an angle it means the cord doesnt end up being bent and damaged
