Pros

These are solidly built and hold a lot of small tools and products. The top drawer is my drawling supplies. It's on my hobby bench where i clean fishing reels so i use it to store small tools.

The drawers are deep enough that i can actually layer the pencils 2 deep making almost twice the room in each drawer. There is a thin foam liner in each tray that cushions the pencil. They are also great for colored pencils.

Loved this solid, sturdy box with padding and smooth pulling drawers. The construction is good, no warping. Each featuring dovetailed detail indicating good construction.

There is a fairly strong odor from the stain, but it will go away. They smell like linseed oil, but the odor will dissipate over time.

Cons

The smell is horrible, who wants to breathe this? The glue that keeps it together in the back is messy and not lined up. If i leave it on a porous surface the varnish begins to soak into whatever is touching the drawers. The case was packaged immediat... Read More

As others have noted theres an issue with the odor when you take this out of the shipping box

It shipped in a product box and should have been mailed in a shipping box to protect it better

As other reviewers have mentioned it did have a strong odor when i first pulled it out of the box but that dissipated within 48 hours

Cant identify if the smell is the wood the glue or a bit of both
