I dont want the wireless one because i have no type a usb ports left on my ps5 and didnt want to have to get a hub because i hear the hub doesnt work well with vr or the external ps4 hd

Maybe one day when the internal drives get cheaper ill add on that way and remove the external hd

Anyway long story short my yadapter that came with the headset shorted out

Now for what the mic input does

The left and right t and r channels will be shorted together since both tip and ring are connected to the mic input the sleeve of the trrs connector

Note that if you plug a 2wire ts tipsignal sground plug into the mic leg of this splitter you will short your input the plugs tip to ground and get no mic input through to the trrs plug
