Pros & Cons
Pros
This kit has a jumper wire instead of the 3 or l prong and parts to rewire if needed. The instructions are easy to follow and the instructions are straight-forward. This is the third heating element that i have replaced and the heat is back on.
All together it beats perfect. Delivered super fast and exactly as described. Definitely pleased with my purchase.
Cons
Easy to install and works for my maytag dryer but quit after 3 months. Plating on metal between elements burned and flaked off see photo. Melted itself into a short after less than three months of standard use.
Don't be fooled. Absolute junk.
Several of the plastic insulators inside are broken. Coils are warped broken and welded to each other. Turned out there was a coil touching the metal.
