This is the best grabber i've owned. It meets my needs. Though in all fairness it isn't an expensive item and it does seem more robust than many of the reachers you'll find at most department and * store.

I am only 5 feet tall and this is very handy to have. This one is a little shorter than the other reachers i have and a different style.

It is lightweight, sturdy, and the grabber can be turned 90 degrees as needed. So far the grasping of is fantastic even for some heavy weight objects. It is sturdy, grasps nicely and gets the job done quickly and easily.

I request that the seller refund my sales price and/or replace it with a sturdier model. I really want the manufacturer or sales people to provide me with a replacement that is better built and indoors relatively normal usage.

After about a month the rubber tips of the jaws were worn off and the control wire from the handle to the jaws frayed and broke. The cable runs thru a hollow metal tube between the *-grip and the jaws. It appears that whatever force mashed the box.
