Pros
It takes patience to wind this fine silk thread to a bobbin. The knots are easy to undo, and i recommend putting them flat on a table for this. The thread is easily divided into smaller threads and has a lovely sheen.
Once you get how to do it, it still represents a challenge. I wish the seller would include instructions on how to handle the silk floss. The result is beautiful thread worth the exasperation!
Single color skein with a knot at the top (easy to undo) bundled with similar colored skeins with the same knot holding them together.
The thread is beautiful and lustrous, but about 1/3 the thickness of dmc embroidery floss. This is perfect for threadpainting.
Cons
It catches on any surface and gets its microscopic strands entangled with any surface, and frays or bunches with the slightest disturbance. The ends are almost impossible to find making the process of winding the thread on bobbins extremely difficult.... Read More
