If you have anything behind the mirror light ring space on the wall such as an electrical box or wall damage from the previous mirror you will see it when the light of the mirror is off but another light source in the room is on

The light output is not listed anywhere so i took it upon myself to measure

The led strips are mounted on the inside track of a shadow box on the back of the mirror which is why it isnt as bright

1 from the mirror i read max 25lux and 7000kits not as bright as some of the mirrors out there but facial details are very clear at a normal distance
