The fault was in the cams themselves
The holes for the cams were dug too deep into the pressed wood and instead of using the cams to pull together joints the cams just tore up the pressed wood because nothing lined up
After 4 hours trying to get the sides and top to come together after putting together the staggered shelves i decided i couldnt put anything of value on these shelves and couldnt package it back up to send to amazon
