This blanket is fantastic. It’s almost like satin material.
The weight is still evenly distributed after two month is use. The only con is that it’s extremely hard to maneuver but there's no way around that with 40 lbs of weight in a blanket.
Cons
I quit using the blanket because the fill seeping through makes it look terrible. Totally bummed especially since there were so many positive reviews. The refund was processed immediately, so kudos to amazon/the seller for that.

When you use a normal blanket you can pull it off your body easily when you get hot

The 20 pound blanket cannot be moved without getting out of bed so doing the things above is almost impossible

It pools at the foot of the bed and the weight of the sand pulling toward the floor pulls the blanket off me

We have it sandwiched between our sheets and a thin quilt i would not recommend it with a warmer comforter unless you like to be super cozy
