Id say this is around a 99 certainty especially if you have it sticking straight out from a vent so your phone is 90 degree vertical

The annoying part is this is the dumbest of design flaws because its so easily fix by making a top arm or the top two be tiny l brackets

Then the magsafe slides in top first under the l bracket and the rest is held in by gravity

That tiny lip on the bracket would make it flawless yet apparently the designers scooted a product out the door with minimal realworld testing
