Pros & Cons
Pros
Viofo are a recognised brand. Video in the day time is sharp, clear and can pick up reg plates with ease.
Cons
The alternative is to disturb the car's trim to conceal it. The screen is too small and there's no map to tell what is what. Just buy a garmin or nexus, really not worth it.
Highlights
Quality
The wide dynamic range ensures consistent visibility in all lighting conditions
This dashcam is a musthave for anyone prioritizing quality reliability and peace of mind while driving
Tried it out with blue tack to fasten to the windscreen and checking positionaim before committing to the sticky pad
The viofo a119 v3 dashcam is a gamechanger for my van
Price
Looked about and this was recommended as being the best inexpensive one
However it was £30 more expensive this includes a £20 voucher on offer and has a lower resolution
For a dashcam at the cheaper end of things seems a pretty decent buy
Competitiveness
Sony tech inside is just as good as the £200 unit it replaced
Bit of a wobblerattle but nothing compared to the nextbase

Fairly easy to install most problem was down to the tight fitting trim in the car but managed to hide the wire across the top of the windscreen in a skoda superb and down the side under the passenger footwell and then into the usb socket in front of the gear lever

Have since moved the camera into a newer model superb and the usb lead is about 30cm too short now as the usba socket is now in the armrest between the seats i didnt want to use the usbc as that is handy for the phone

Night time is good better than others but number plates can be hard to read with the glare from headlights just about possible with cars that you are following
