Pros
These bags are well made, thick and work perfectly in my foodsaver vacuum sealer. I do a lot of sous vide cooking and these bags are excellent for that as well. Also boil in bag for veggies. Be sure to lay the ridge side down when sealing.
Cons
Will not purchase from avid armor again since their products can not be trusted. It is very frustrating.
Just check for flatness when ordering. Theses bags are not good. Will not pull a good vacuum in either a food saver or a much higher quality weston sealers.
These bags are thinner, even though they state that they are the same 4 mil plastic as the cabelas ones. The melting heating strip on the vac sealer is still warm when reloading a new bag. I have 2 different sealing machines and neither machine liked ... Read More
