Pros & Cons

Pros

The diameter is larger of course, it is a 12 qt. I'm short so the lower profile is also a plus when adding ingredients and stirring. I also like that the pot is wider rather than taller.

The stock pot was nicely packaged and not damaged in any way. The weight is not too much even though the pot appears very thick and sturdy. Top is not super heavy but fits well.

As is, i’m extremely pleased with the quality and performance. Actually, i plan to buy another one but a 24 quart, but from another supplier due to the fact that amazon does not have it.

See through is nice but not at the expense of losing the tri-ply feature. Works great on induction. Good luck. I presume it will do the job.

My other pots are calphalon (all of my pieces were produced in the usa prior to the sale to newell rubbermaid), a le creuset, and an old salad master stock pot. It holds the quantity that i need and it's lower profile sits comfortably on my stove with...  Read More

Cons

The box says 24 but when you get it out the top of the pot is marked at 20 quarts! This was advertised as 16 qt.
