This bowl was recommended by helen rennie, the cook on youtube. It's wide enough to knead dough and not have a mess on the counter. Size is perfect for large batches of chex mix.

It's a great quality, not heavyweight (which i expected), but certainly sturdy enough for my needs.

Customer service commenced to tell me that the barcode says it's 8 quarts, and that they're not the manufacturer, they just sell them. The 5 quart version is almost exactly 4 quarts. The spill point is right around the 4 quart mark.

The bowl is super thin and already dented when received. The sides are not strong either but are relatively okay. The bottom feels like thin flimsy tin. Not being able to scrape down the inside was a showstopper.

The bowl is large enough for kneading large batches of bread dough, but the bottom is so thin that it will not hold up. Picture is deceiving, as it is too wide where i expected it to be deep. It's really annoying to go clean up the batter splatters.
