I enjoy painting in acrylics, watercolors and even oils and purchased this set because it seemed to be a good value. I was very impressed when they arrived, the brushes are of very good quality and have soft bristles. I've used them a few times in some small watercolor projects I have been doing and they have performed really well. While the brushes are a little smaller than my professional brushes they do balance well and are lightweight when using them. They clean up easily and I keep them stored in the bag they came in. There is a nice mix of brushes from flat, to pointed to fan which is great for a beginner.The set also came with a plastic palette that has proved to be very useful as it's small and doesn't take up a lot of my art space but has enough trays for mixing colors and blends. For the value, I find these to be a great set and would suggest them for those on a budget wanting nice brushes.   Read Less
