Pros
The stainless steel in heavy enough and is fitted in a wood handle with brass plugs. Hand washing and immediate drying to avoid spots. It is stainless which i like.
This saves time as i chop many veggies, meat, etc. We do enough cooking on it that we needed several since one will always be in the sink or dishwasher. Fantastic aid for kitchen prep.
It's solid and very rigid which is a must when working with heavier dough. Very sturdy. Sturdy, cleans well, cuts dough well.
Cons
Everything about it yells cheap. The finish on the wood is that weird east asian reddish blonde lacquer that will wash off with a few cleaning. The metal is too thick to cut pastry without mashing it.

To keep the handle from shrinking or cracking it should never be put in the dishwasher

I considered the all steel version but this one will scrape dough just as well the all steel was pricier and i have wood handled knives that have lasted many years and are still like new
