Pros
Everything is doable and fixable on my acura. Makes a difference, trunk not hitting the bald spot anymore. Always replace both struts at the same time, replacing only the fail strut would not keep the hatch open.

Not as smooth or as easy to move as the one that broke but this price and that inconvenience certainly beat what the dealer wanted to do this repair

Everything is good just watch out when you take one out the tailgate is going to fall down

Warning support hatch when disssconnecting hatch was much heavier then i expected
