It has a green led light but other than lighting up in the dark to help you find it to charge your phone it doesnt tell you if charging is done unlike macbook chargers where it shows orange or green depending on the charge but merely the fact that this cable is plugged in to the charger

Bought them 1st for my kindle because i was having issues with the connection it wouldnt charge unless it was in the perfect spot the slightest movement and it stopped charging

After 2 years of plugging and unplugging the charging cable to my s5 and many cords later it got to the point that the charging cable had to be at a certain angle in order for it to charge and at times it would stop charging over night because the port was loosecable issues
