Even if it develops and fault to ground, i am not likely to have a problem. My garage is lit up like daylight now. Easily right in the light socket.

These are goog quality socket to plug adapters. The adapter accepts either a 2-prong or a 3- prong plug. This saves a step and reduces the clutter at the fixture. No fussing about the ground tab tie-out.

Cons

When a lamp is connected to the faulty socket, the bulb's outer casing will be hot instead of neutral, representing an electrocution risk. The product should be withdrawn from sale.
