The timer function is very precise to be honest. And best of all the timer function makes it effortless. Take 3 aaa batteries place in the pumpkin and set your timer.
Cons
It comes on at random times so the timer is apparently faulty. Very disappointing. Not bright enough to illuminate a pumpkin.
