This worried me because my canon vixia m40 uses a smart battery which lets the camera calculate how much time you can use the camera and reflects this on your lcd

So if the batteries could not be read by the camera and i didnt have leds as advertised to tell me how much power i had left i would have returned them

According to my camera the full charge time of the battery is 195 minutes 3 hours 15 mins not 300 minutes 5 hours as advertised

The camera was set to factory auto setting for video if that even matters

Maybe the time will increase with all setting set to manual aperture focus exposure wb etc still have to test
