I tested this cable both with a usb charging voltamperage tester and i also ran the cable testing app on my nexus 6p called checkr which will test the proper voltage levels coming into your phone and tell you whether the cable can be safely used with my phone this app only works on the nexus 6p nexus 5x and pixel c needless to say this cable is safe to use with my nexus 6pwhen i ran this cable through my voltamp tester my phone was drawing 1
35 amps which is the same as my oem cable
I have tested some other cables that have been as low as a
49 amp draw so there are differences in the quality of cables
