Pros

These are invaluable and save me so much time. Sturdy, but a little difficult to install for a wheelchair ramp. No rust at all after 7 months.

Cons

Annoying as *! The 1/2 nut is inaccessible. Straps obviously very thin and weak. They have flimsy metal tabs that lock the ratchet mechanism.

When disconnecting from boat there is usually four to six inches dangling that won’t retract. Straps quit retracting in about 10 trips. Only 1 is auto-retracting, the other 3 do not.

Buy boat buckle, or maybe rhino. Now the only way to wind the strap back in is by manually ratcheting. I snug them but during the drive i guess the boat moves and they end up with more tension on them and then will not release.
