Pros & Cons
Pros
Ice storms in alaska can cause downed power lines and power outages. The tent is small enough to have in the downstairs closet for whenever needed.
Highlights
Quality
Although it isnt perfect it offers features that make it worthy of the ice and at the given price point it is of the quality i would expect
As a result it earns 45 stars for being a durable and quality shack… that falls a touch short on a few key areas
The only other issue i see present with this popup relates to the stakes included with the product

If you are going to pick up one of these popup shacks it is highly recommended you pick up some heavy duty ice stakes along with it

That said i did not purchase this with the intention of an ice fishing tent but as a preparednessminded person ive been long overdue to get something more robust than my thin camping tent to create a microclimate environment inside of our house should the power be out for an extended period of time during the upper teens low 20s temperatures that we do experience in the heart of winter down here overnight at least
