Pros
These lil gems do what they are supposed to. I love that they are reusable. You can reuse them and store them in the jar they came in.

But as to the product they have worked well and there are more than enough to share with someone else
Not worth my time to return just for another low quality container

They need rinsing to eliminate any ceramic dust created during shipping getting into dough

Came in bag and jar was not sealed and balls all over the jar
Excellent pie weights but the packaging broke loose and they were spilled into the packing box
Your pie weights will stick in the dough

The ceramic beads appear porous so i wonder if theyll begin to discolor or pick up properties from what theyre weighing down

For example i had been lining the pie shell with parchment paper and then filling it with sugar

This method worked but it was messy and difficult to transfer the sugar out of the pie shell back into a bag

I unpacked it all and washed it and i did notice the beans went a little less white but i could care less about the color
