Pros & Cons
Pros
Used this to replace an old corroded gauge on my pool filter. I am interested to see how resistant it is to the chlorinated water. It doesn't have any bouncing due to slight fluctuations in pressure due to the fluid.
The gauge is large and easy to read and there's no flutter on the reading at all. Save yourself a headache and get this one. When the weather changes it is sometimes necessary to remove the plug at the top of the gauge.
Cons
When you start the vac down the chamber the cheap one jumps to around 5hg while this one is just starting off its resting pin. Stuck at 70 psi and would not move. As a result, i have no clue what my actual vacuum is, so basically worthless.

The pin on top is not secured inside with any type of holdback so be careful if you remove it to not drop it as i did and now had to replace it with a filed down nail

Other wise it will not be accurate also make sure you hold it upright when pulling the plug and replugging the vent plug so oil does not spell out
