The mic sits a bit low my particular headphones because the initial length before the extension is already about 8 or 9 inches and the lack of a clip makes it kind of awkward because it cannot be secured to my shirt collar

The jack on the adapter cable actually has what seems to be fewer segments than the headphones

But no sound at all in the headphones and the phone doesnt recognize the headphones were even plugged in

Usually it displays a special icon for enablingdisabling noise cancellation feature once you plug them in but not with the adapter cable

So i assume the segments just do not align and it doesnt work overall
