    Only detail is to remember to turn ( or cover) the pirs around when working in the cabin during the day, so not to drain the batteries, otherwise the aaa's last about 4-6 months in the un-heated hut.

    It's effective and works well, but there are some things to be mindful of when placing the two sensors to minimise false alarms.

    Also, be aware that the sun can trigger alarms, especially if it shines on the sensors or if the sun goes in and comes out repeatedly.

    So, try and place the senors where they are not in direct sunlight or directed towards very sunny locations.
