The video feed can be activated from the screen or it activates automatically when the doorbell is pushed and you can see quite clearly what is going on in front of the camera

I wasnt able to properly try out the speech function of this as i didnt have an assistant available to take the doorbell to another location

I would have liked to see it with a desk stand but since its not wireless placing it somewhere permanently isnt something id see as a problem or a fault with it

The red lights emit mostly in the infrared spectrum which the camera is able to pick up and should give you a good visual impression of who is standing outside your door even if it is pitch black

The only things that made me give this 4 stars are the fact that the materials are fairly cheap and there is no way you can have it wireless
