    An indicator to show there is power, whether direct from the computer-bus or from the power-pack, is shown by a tiny, green led on the four-socket side.

    The hub comes with a strip of velcro-type material to attach it to something - i haven't yet worked out what, but the possibilities are no doubt endless.

    I have a suggestion for the next version - use two led's to show the origin of the power supply, one from the bus-supply and another from the power-pack, then the user would know that the reason for there being insufficient power to a peripheral item was that it needed more than the power-bus could supply.
