Product works according to specs. Works just as great as it does when it isn't plugged in. Worked well - sturdy cable.

Cons

The hard plastic part connecting the metal insert to the iphone to the cord crumbled. Sometimes my phone recognizes that they aren't apple products and they don't charge my iphone 5s.
