I have not a fridge fail from electrical problems before but we have been seeing more outages in the past year including ones where the power is flickering off or almost off for a second or even less and then reverting back to 34normal34 for another second or so and my wife suggested we buy a surge protector for the fridge

If you didnt know this had happened the fridge would remain off until you unplugged it and then plug in again
