I ordered purple because other reviewers said the colour is pretty and i read that the grey one looked plasticky

The purple colour comes with dark swirls of purple around the edge that are not clear in the picture

They look somewhat like cometsjust darker purple streaks amid the light purple

To use the magnified part you actually need to hold the mirror up close to your face to see yourself

Otherwise if you are sitting three or four feet away from the mirror as i typically am your image appears upsidedown

I was slightly annoyed at the stickers on the surface of the mirror which i had to peel off and then scrub to remove sticker residue

It is a perfectly acceptable mirror but i might have preferred something with a more elegant and classic look as opposed to this plastic model although i agree that the colour is fine to look at

I have a feeling the grey and white versions of this mirror as equally plasticky
