Pros
My german shepard likes the light when she goes out after dark and hubby says he plans to keep the up year round as the deck also surrounds our pool. They have a nice warm glow and have plenty of light for my porch. Very easy to install.
Cons
However the control boxes that the led ropes plug into stop working after a very short time. They are flat strip lights that once mounted cannot give light in 360 deg. Not durable at all for outside use.
Decent investment to be broken a few months later. Don't waste your money.
Started malfunctioning and went to flashing alternating colors. Pain in the * to rewire, but whatever. Does not work through the glass slider.

When i first opened the box they looked a bit anemic compared to the usual rounded strip lights we always bought locally

Also you can’t stretch and rope light tight especially in cold weather or the tiny connecting wire will snap

They were labeled warm white but are brighter white than i expected so they don’t match my other lighting very well

The remote needs to be sort of close and with no obstacles to work
