The needles were bought for crewel work. These seem to be thicker and are definitely longer than regular sewing needles or even regular crewel needles. I like the convenience of these large eyed needles but the variety isn't as versatile as needed.
Cons
Don't buy these. Eye too large to go thru holes on *.
