Pros

New grille is wonderful with the removable hinged door. Unit is well made and like that the new vent can be removed from the framing. It fits perfectly and easily fits into the holder.

Cons

The grille was installed and useless. Installing the air return grille left the item in less-than-pristine condition. The width of the grille is larger than described. It's the packaging from the manufacturer that fails the product.

The grate is warped and will leave a gap between the drywall and the grate. Since it's an air intake, there's vibration so the flimsy plastic lock pieces just rattle around against the metal grille door. The opening is 1/2 inch too small.
