Pros & Cons
Pros
The cats are optional, but the bears are highly recommended because bears rule. See pic for comparison to new bit. This item is well worth the price.
The tip seems to perform better if you squirt some water during the drilling. Make sure to use a little water as the slurry lubricates and helps with drilling. Drilled a slightly larger hole in plywood.
Needed to cut two 3/4 holes in porcelain tile. It works great for that, cuts through very easily and smoothly. Smoother and cut way faster.
Cons
These are nearly worthless. Doesn't do a very good job biting into brick. Had to go to lowe's to finish 4 hole installation.
Highlights
Quality
Bit lasted as long as expected for the price so the quality was good enough for me
I was very doubtful that they would do but very pleased at the results
I had 18 holes to drill and did 6 with the first bit and it was toast
I drew crosshairs on the tile the aligned the four slots in the drill with the crosshairs to assure it was centered
Price
This item is well worth the price
Packaging/appearance
Was able to bore drill holes in porcelain pottery with ease
Competitiveness
That bit after 6 holes is still far sharper than the expensive name brand
These are superior at a fraction of the price
I purchased a 5pack of these hole saws for a little over 2

Nonstandard shaft so you cant add an extension easily so you are pretty much limited on depth of cut unless you rig something up

If it used a hex shaped shaft you could at least use an appropriate sized hex driver to extend

Great if you only need to go a 23 inches
