Maybe it's my fault for not thoroughly checking it out before placing me order. After i discovered this i see other people in the comments have also being deceived exactly like i was.

It would be great if that were at least a 38 screw or even a big fat thread on the exterior of the pole but theyre limited by zhiyuns choice to use a 14 screw thread on the bottom of their handle

That could lead to an expensive accident if your hands are sweaty and you let up on your grip for a second but if youre at all crafty im sure you could use some gaffers tape or tennis racket grip tape or something like that to easily and cheaply add some texture

The gimbal didnt seem to like the previous and flimsier monopod that i connected to it
